According to ANRPC’s latest report, as of the end of September, global natural rubber production increased by 1.5% to 1.779 million tons.
Among them, Vietnam and India fell by 9.8% and 14.1% respectively, which was mainly due to weather.
From January to September, global natural rubber consumption increased by 6.6% year-on-year to 10.653 million tons, of which China, India, Thailand and Indonesia increased by 3.4%, 14.2%, 40.2% and 5.1% respectively.
In terms of exports, ANRPC members exported a total of 7.294 million tons of natural rubber in the previous September, down 2.2% year-on-year.
Among them, Thailand’s exports fell by 0.6%, Indonesia by 4.7%, Malaysia by 5.1%, and Vietnam by 5.9%.
It is predicted that natural rubber production will increase by 3.7% to 13.851 million tons this year, and natural rubber consumption will increase by 5.3% to 14.033 million tons.
